Age of the Pod: Originating Community Storytelling for Digital Listening Podcast that is. From the first internet radio broadcast in 2004 to what we now know as podcasts, these digital audio storytelling platforms are on the rise in every sector imaginable including Indian Country. Born out of the need for storytelling directly for the people in their communities in an accessible form, Tohono O'odham Young Voices Podcast joins this session to talk about the growth and empowerment of self-produced content for community, their successes, challenges, and discuss the future of the Native podcast landscape from their microphones.
